generous breakfast vibes
Stayed for 5 nights as a solo traveler. The breakfast was super generous and hot, definitely a highlight! Dinners were just okay though, and the room could've used a good clean. Staff were friendly, and the bar area was a nice chill spot. Just wish they had more options for dinner.

The garden area offers a lovely spot for a drink, and the views from the car park are impressive. While the dinner was enjoyable, with highlights like the Scampi and Sea Bass, breakfast was significantly lacking. The bacon was overcooked and hard, and the poached eggs were disappointing. Despite the kitchen manager's efforts to address our concerns, the breakfasts remained unsatisfactory during our stay.

Perfect for a relaxing family getaway
You know I’m a stickler for detail, but the breakfast here was just amazing-plentiful and honestly beautiful, we didn’t need to eat again till dinner! They had everything sorted out for us, and it was just a relief to not worry about a thing after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you know what? It was still worth it.

Stunning Views and Good Food
We spent two nights here for a wedding and loved it! The views are breathtaking, totally a highlight. The staff were super nice, especially with our kid, taking him to see ponies. Dinner and breakfast were tasty, loads of options. The room was a bit outdated though, and the shower could really use an upgrade.

Fantastic views of the moors and lovely walks nearby made our stay truly enjoyable. The room was super comfy, had everything we needed, and our beloved pet felt right at home. The nearby Crow Nest Park was a great spot to spend time together as a family.
In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast could have been better organized, especially for families with kids who need a quicker start in the morning.

I enjoyed my brief stay here, especially appreciating the beautiful Greenhead Park just under 5 km away, which made for a lovely morning walk, and the easy access to Colne Valley Museum, perfect for a quick cultural stop, creating a nice balance between relaxation and exploration.

I enjoyed the beautiful views from my room. they were truly stunning. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The food quality at dinner was excellent, especially the steak. My room was spacious, though the decor felt dated. The bathroom appeared recently refurbished but had cleanliness issues that were concerning. WiFi was inconsistent and required standing near the door for a connection. The heating system left much to be desired. I was cold during the nights. Breakfast could be improved as it lacked variety and the coffee wasn't great. The parking was ample, which was a plus.
